Excellent progressive/post metal from Minneapolis. Opeth-esque riffs, prominent bass, tasteful leads. Worth checking out. Especially since their first release, “Visions of Light” is available for free download.

Thought I’d share some local music for my first post. False have been garnering a lot of attention lately, and for good reason. They craft their songs well, play an intense live show and have their recording online for free. What more could you ask for?
